I Was Betrayed by President Trump

As one of the Capitol Police officers who defended the United States against the mob on Jan. 6, 2021, I felt it was important for me to be in the committee room on June 28 to hear the former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony. Along with three colleagues, I went, even though I knew it would be difficult to relive the horrors I witnessed. Although I experienced firsthand the brutal onslaught of the insurrectionists, I was shocked to hear Ms. Hutchinson explain the extent to which former President Donald Trump incited the people who almost killed me.

... I had to select the icon of a Gift Box to share an unlocked article, and not the usual icon that means share, like an arrow or whatever. Many different entities use different symbols. So did it work? Are you still a subscriber?

4. Well no. I cancelled my subscription at the end of last month when the special rate expired

They offered to renew the same rate for a year but it kind of pissed me off that I only got that offer when I was unsubscribing. I’d already extended for a year. That being said I’m still getting it, I’ll have to double check my cC this month but I got an email verifying I dropped it. So I guess I’m not going to mess with any functions that might draw attention.

"we" are waiting on the DoJ, of course, but I think it will be worth the wait. It's practically impossible that Trump would NOT be indicted after all we have seen and heard.

If Garland, and Georgia, does not do the right thing, it will crush Democratic energy for the midterms.

At 12:01 pm, he should have been arrested and led off in handcuffs and charged with fomenting an insurrection amongst other likely numerous crimes. My only question is, at this very late date, WTF is he still running around loose for. We’ve seen this clown continue to thumb his nose at our democracy. Running around at his rally’s, laughing at the whole country. Come on Garland, you can do this. Stop letting this bully sneer at the rule of law and US.

The comment following the article were impressive. I don't recall ever seeing so many positive comments without an intervening a*hole or twelve spewing their venom. Not so here.
