Why don't GOPers see this as a good time to drop Trump?
I don't get it. I mean, they're completely corrupt, but you'd think they'd realize it's in their self-interest to dump him now that he's about to get indicted.
Nothing's going to get better for him. He's not going to be able to run again. He's never going to escape investigation. And he's 76. Why not quietly back away from him rather than doubling down?
Maybe there's some self-destructive suicidal urge there?
