BTRTN: Reports of Trump's Political Demise Are Greatly Exaggerated.

Born To Run The Numbers looks at the media frenzy-du-jour: that Donald Trump was the “biggest loser” in the mid-terms, that his awful choices cost the Republicans the chance to flip the Senate, that the absence of a “red wave” was all his fault, and that Ron DeSantis is now the shiny new object of Republican affection. But has his grip on the Republican Party really been weakened?

http://www.borntorunthenumbers.com/2022/11/btrtn-reports-of-trumps-political.html

Excerpts:
"Do we note anything missing from the pile-on? Maybe every major player in the Republican Party? Note to anyone who thinks that now, finally, the Republican Party is ready to move on from Donald Trump: Wake me up when any of Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, or Kevin McCarthy walks up to a microphone and announces that the Republican Party should not nominate Trump in 2024...
"The minute Trump makes that announcement, the big Republican politicians will have microphones thrust in their faces and will be put on the spot: do they endorse Trump’s candidacy? That's when things will get interesting...
"So let’s be real. We’ve been to this party too many times, and we’ve never once had a good time. People thought that Trump was politically dead for his “grab’em by the pussy” video. For his appalling ignorance, sloth, and self-protecting political calculations during the Covid crisis. For Charlottesville. For separating immigrant children from their parents. For his own disastrous mid-terms. For the first impeachment. For losing the Presidency in 2020. For leading a bloody insurrection that was intended to topple our democracy. For urging a mob to violence against own his Vice President. For the second impeachment. For stealing top secret documents. And now Trump will lose his iron grip on Republicans his candidates performed poorly in the midterms?... I don't think so."

polling averages.

Even BTRTN and Cook were duped by the fake polls that flooded in the last month prior to the election.

I don't now, nor never did expect the GOP to be the cause of Trump's political demise. It will be the voters, in 2024 if he isn't indicted and convicted, who throw him under the bus. The spineless cowards who are still in charge of the GOP then can figure out how to pick up the pieces.

BTRTN correctly called 34 of 35 Senate races.
BTRTN correctly called every single Governors race (35) that have been decided.
BTRTN said that House would flip Republican, which is where things are headed.
So what is this "duped by fake polls" nonsense?

And if "the general election voters" would be the cause of Trump's demise, how come that didn't happen in 2020, when he was whipped by seven million votes?

The article says that the most effective way Trump will be taken down is by voters -- Republican voters in a primary.

Sometimes it is a good idea to read the articles before you criticize them. Just sayin.'
