5 La Vergne officers fired, 3 suspended for sexual acts on duty, ‘girls gone wild’ hot tub party, three-way relations, city says

Five La Vergne police officers were fired and three were suspended Wednesday for allegedly having sexual relationships with a fellow officer on duty, sending explicit photos to each other, and engaging in “three-ways” with another officer and his wife, according to a police investigation document.

The five officers were fired and the three officers were suspended Wednesday, Jan. 4.

Documents obtained by News 2 said Mayor Jason Cole called the director of human resources on Dec. 12, 2022, reporting one officer was having intimate relationships with other officers, including a “three-way” with another officer and his wife.

Cole also mentioned a “girls gone wild” hot tub party at an officer’s house, according to the documents.

In addition, one officer is accused of attempting to intimidate a city employee by putting his hands around their neck, and two additional officers conspired to be untruthful during the investigation, the documents said.

I worked at a private school in Nashville. One of the teachers there was from LaVergne. Her sister was a police officer there. And both were about as stuck up as two people could get. One example of your typical LaVergne dweller:

Each year we had a Christmas party for the staff and faculty. One year, one of our newer teachers offered her newly remodeled house in East Nashville (disclosure: I lived about six blocks from this teacher) to hold the party It was a beautiful house with nice high ceilings and an open style layout. It was a nice place to say the least. Yet, it was in that demonic hellhole that was 'East Nasty'. So, this LaVergne born teacher refused to attend. And, lobbied for others to not attend after she did not get it moved to Brentwood or one of those other bastions of ego and money. Understand that East had been going through a massive 'gentrification' period and the part of it where we lived was a very cool and eclectic place. But, this person refused to even consider that. When she as growing up, East had a reputation and that is all that mattered. (I lived there for 13 years and loved every second of it. I would move to East again if I could.) Typical stuck-up people who think they are better than everyone else. THAT is the LaVergne I grew to know while living there.

What do you and your family think about the gentrification of East. It used to be a great place, but now it is a mini Belle Meade. I do not like it and the people who have lived there for generations are being forced out of their homes due to rising property taxes. They have allowed predatory developers to remove beautiful houses and build cheaply made, crackerbox townhomes. They are destroying that part of town with their greed. It was sad to watch, I can tell you that.

...the wife and I dabbled in some swinging, and it was shocking, dismaying, and sad, to see how many swingers in the arena were cops and/or staunch conservatives. We made a pact never to do it with a cop, or a staunch conservative, which cut down on the number of available couples, for sure. Can't trust the bastards.
