Kari Lake pondering a Senate run? What has Arizona done to deserve this?

Laurie Roberts, Arizona Republic

It appears that Arizona’s self-proclaimed “real governor” may be setting her sights on next becoming Arizona’s next real senator.

No, I don’t mean the real real governor, Gov. Katie Hobbs.

I’m talking about the perpetually aggrieved unsuccessful candidate who runs around all day every day, telling anyone who will listen that evil Republican election officials stole her crown and set all of America on a path to becoming Venezuela.

Get ready, Arizona, for the Kari Lake Vindication Tour.

2. I don't think her actions as an election denier are going to work for her in 2024

She was apparently good in television news, and there are stations out there who would see her hard-right lean as a positive thing.

again, or has she stashed away enough in offshore accounts to not have to work again?

If the once DINO doesn't run it's going to be tight between Gallego (D) and Lake, the election denier.

If Sinema does run she'll lose but may tilt it to the sorry election denier.

Or, if we’re lucky, fourth behind the libertarian candidate.

13. A recent analysis of Arizona voters showed that there were as many as 40,000 Republicans

in Maricopa County who voted mostly for GOP candidates, but voted for Hobbs against Lake, and it's reasonable to think that she might not win the GOP nomination. Being a local Fox affiliate whiny-baby isn't a real qualification, though her reputation for lying and spreading conspiracy theories on social media is a top-line GOP qualification these days, along with the party switching that identifies her as an opportunist.

I'd say her odds of winning the GOP nomination are less than 50-50.
