Tracking Supreme Court decisions in this term’s major cases

Key cases that the Supreme Court will decide in May and June: here’s why they matter

The Supreme Court on Thursday decided two cases related to whether social media companies can be held liable for content others post on their platforms. Other big decisions expected this spring include major cases on affirmative action in college admissions, student loan debt forgiveness and more. Decisions are likely to be announced each week until the court finishes its work in late June or early July.

Here is background on some of the most important cases, which will be updated with each decision to show how the justices have ruled.
