Gone with the Wind tried to force a guilt trip on me!
That movie pretended that my Abolitionist ancestors, out of jealousy, had viciously attacked a wonderful culture "of peace and plenty" for everyone, Black and white, each one placed in a job and domicile precisely suited to his/her abilities and needs, with the rich white men exhaustively working to administer all aspects of a just society and the rich white women tenderly hurrying around to help anybody who was sick or in need. Why sure!
