Donald Trump's America-first policies are pushing countries into China's embrace

Inside China, there's a nickname for US President Donald Trump that tells you everything you need to know about how his actions are increasingly seen as a gift to Beijing.

They call him Chuan Jianguo, which translates to Chinese "nation-builder" — a mocking title that suggests the US president's foreign and domestic policies are driving countries away from Washington and pushing them into the embrace of China.

Trump has been openly vocal about the fact that his America-first attitudes towards Venezuela — and Greenland — are to counter so-called threats from China and Russia.

And while he insists his actions are justified, including bombings and imposing tariffs on several European countries that have disagreed with him, they are proving to be uncomfortable for some traditional US allies.

1. Anyone who embraces djt and his brand of so-called governing, would be a fool. I think that everyone is being driven

away by tRUMP into new alliances, new, w/o the USA, to go forth in the new world of today. tRUMP has literally driven the world away from the USA, permanently, since I feel that anyone in the future, after tRUMP is gone and done w/ (and he will, soon, his age alone makes him a primary choice of why he would leave office prematurely). And the end result, even when tRUMP is gone, is that restoring these relationships will not be easy ... too much of the funny Kool-Aid is still floating around out there.

Trump has poisioned the well.
Very few will have any respect or trust. Gone.
And wii be gone for a long time.
Realtions with the .USA will be operational and short term.
The USA will be "out of the loop".
