That harm our family, our friends, and a country that we deeply love."

2. I think the OP demonstrates what many, many of us have been saying

for *ever*... since most of us came of age in the 60's and 70's. People... REAL, everyday ordinary people... just want to be left alone to live their lives and make the lives of their family better. We don't want war. We don't want to bomb anyone "back to the stone ages." We don't particularly want to be billionaires. We actually know of things that are more important than money. These are the things we strive to bring into our lives. All over the world, we have more in common than we're different.
