'I Don't Give a Shit What Kristi Noem's Husband Does, I Care About What She's Doing to Everyone Else'

(Jojofromjerz) "Just to be crystal clear, I don’t give a fuck what Kristi Noem’s husband is into when it comes to his sexuality, unless it’s illegal, because what a grown ass adult does in the privacy of their own life, in their own home, in the quiet, unmonitored, uninvited corners of their own existence, is not up for public consumption or public exploitation, no matter what those sanctimonious, self-satisfied MAGA-stupid shit-stirrers think, and the fact that this even has to be said out loud right now is a pretty damning reflection of just how far gone this shit has gotten."

"I don’t care if her husband wants to turn himself into a 'bimbo Barbie.' I really don’t."

"What I do care about is people like Kristi Noem trying to police everyone else’s personal choices when it comes to theirs, inserting themselves into the most intimate, interior, deeply human aspects of other people’s lives with the invasive enthusiasm of someone rifling through drawers that were never theirs to open, all while pretending this compulsive, almost voyeuristic obsession with other people’s identities is somehow noble, somehow necessary, somehow about 'protecting' anyone from anything other than their own discomfort with a world that refuses to shrink itself down to their narrow, brittle definition of acceptable."

"Because what we’re watching right now isn’t morality, it’s a baroque little pageant of power and projection, a velvet-draped, Bible-quoting, pearl-clutching performance where the same crowd that couldn’t survive under their own rules is out here trying to legislate everyone else’s existence into something smaller, quieter, and easier for them to tolerate, a kind of ideological pickpocketing happening in broad daylight while they’ve got you staring at the sideshow."

"When she was governor, she banned trans girls from participating in women’s sports and banned gender-affirming care for trans youth, part of a broader pattern of going after anyone who doesn’t fit neatly into the narrow little box she pretends people should stay inside."

"All while her own husband was out here shopping at Victoria’s Secret for himself."

"And she’s out here trying to force a world where that kind of freedom doesn’t exist."

"Because the same loud, lecturing, morality-obsessed bullshit artists policing everybody else’s lives are the exact same ones quietly bending, breaking, and bulldozing the rules for themselves, the same ones screaming about values they don’t live by, demanding discipline they don’t practice, drawing lines they trip over the second nobody’s looking—it’s the same tired, transparent, gutless hypocrisy, just louder, uglier, and a hell of a lot more dangerous."

"This is petty, punitive, and suffocating, the kind of behavior you get from people who can’t stand themselves and need everybody else to shrink so they don’t have to feel it, a deliberate choice made by miserable control freaks who would rather micromanage the entire world than sit alone with their own bullshit for even a second—the kind of bitter, self-avoiding assholes who treat everyone else’s freedom like a personal attack."

"I don’t care if Kristi Noem’s husband gets off on strapping on some big ol fake titties—whatever floats your boat—because the list of things that fall under “not my business” is actually very long and very easy to respect when you are not pathologically committed to controlling everyone else’s life."

is nobody's business but his (and maybe hers). I'm sure his outing as a cross-dresser with a particular kink for enormous breasts is very embarrassing for both of them, but maybe it shouldn't be. It's a bit unusual, although evidently not as unusual as we might think, but it harms nobody. What harms people isn't what Byron was getting up to in private but what she was getting up to in public with her own cringe style of cross-dressing. While he was trying on her panties she was shooting her dog. While he was taking selfies in huge plastic boobies she was ordering the kidnapping of innocent people and sending them to foreign gulags, taking children away from their parents, and supervising the murderers of innocent observers of the goons who were doing those things. Maybe we could spare a little pity for Byron, but as far as Kristi is concerned, if she wants sympathy she can find it in the dictionary between shit and syphilis but she won't get any from me.

those in power because, only if they are shorn of their protective friends, can they be removed. I like the idea that she is made to get her comeuppance, not for revenge but so that she becomes an example to others to stop ones evil or there may be hell to pay. Some people are put in this world only to serve as an example of what not to do and she is one of them.

A few of the repugs and their MAGA minions are beginning to get the idea that stupidity is not a good idea because it doesn't lead to good things for oneself. That's all they care for and if you hurt that, you can stop many of them. You can't appeal to their sense of morality, justice mercy or empathy because they have none of these attributes. That will not help the diehard Nazi Bigots but helps cut their power by reducing the number of followers.

to get us talking about anything other than the Iran War and the Epstein files. I despise Kristi Noem, but, please, let's leave her husband's kink to TMZ and People Magazine and focus on the big issues.

they apply the law to others but break it themselves. In Ms. Noem's world it would be illegal to do what Mr. Noem did. That mattered yesterday, matters today, and will matter forever more.

Think about it, he stands for everything she despises. I’m sure she’s transferred all that pent up anger and hatred to the brown people she was trying to exterminate. She’s a twisted hateful bitch.

This is so very well written. It says what I'd like to say, but have never been able to.

I don't care what ANY two CONSENTING adults do in their bedroom. Never have. But Byron Noem never spoke up against his wife's actions either, and therefore, in my mind, I have little compassion for him. Because when you don't speak up, you enable.

It truly is almost unbelievable to me when these idiots get caught. I don't think it's because they are stupid. I think it's because they think they are untouchable; therefore, I take a little bit of satisfaction when it happens. If nothing else, as I said in another thread: This one's for Cricket!

Karma does indeed bite sometimes.

But when you condemn and hurt others I take pleasure in your humiliation. People need to be accountable for their hypocrisy and suffer the pain and shame you caused others. Conservative Christian’s are the most judgmental people alive sometimes that finger points back at you and your figureheads.
