and refuse to enforce it, what they can't do is interfere with fed. officials enforcing fed. law.
IOW, they can tell the feds that if they want the law enforced, then the fed govt. has to do it themselves and the state won't commit any resources to help them, ie: state personnel, state/local facilities, etc.

States are not obligated to enforce fed. law.

It's a stupid piece of legislation IMO, but we are talking about the AL. legislature.
