it was a pretty strange trip. I had a friend suggest it when it was still pretty much web based, he thought it was brilliant but I just couldn't stay as into it as he did.

First, I love that kind of book, odd,spooky,different...but I think that
all of the digressions and subplots actually detracted from the story.
I understand why the author did that..added realism etc, but I feel that the story itself
was sidetracked by too MUCH of that. Also, I think it would make a GREAT movie if done documentary style and focused on the actual incidents in the house. How about Aronofsky (sp?) directing?
Your opinions?

I tend to agree with your assessment, it's been awhile but I remember thinking that the book was a little too fragmented and I felt it threw the pacing off. It would just start getting good and weird and then off on a tangent.

Aronofsky would be an interesting pick to direct a movie like that. I think that Guillermo Del Toro would have some fun with it. Speaking of him have you seen The Devil's Backbone? If you like creepy and odd that film is a fun time.
