They have local groups now under the name "Awake the State" and work on local issues.

other things as well.
Occupy was hounded by police and FBI, and I have always wondered how things would have gone had they sold out to the Democrats instead of saying no thanks, we are not political.
Not being political scares the shit out of corporate America, since corporate America has bought the political process and thus calls the shots.

In a county in Fla, I hear they are better than the county democratic party. More people too...

they were there to be a stimulant, a thorn in the side of the dormant Democratic party liberalism. They largely achieved that. I never expected that they would "take over."
