Australia's Gun Solution

"In its time of grief, Australia actually did something about weapons like the AR-15: It banned them." - Fareed Zakaria, 0:34-41, March 31, 2013.

What a concept!

If resisting tyranny through armed rebellion was its original purpose.

Now generally agreed that armed rebellion is never legitimate in this country.

Ipso facto.

7. In Illinois, Gov Ryan (R) supported gun control before the 3rd-Wayers picked it up as their issue.

The then-State Senator Obama, instead of revealing his position as a 3rd Wayer at a session in which votes would be taken, left the State and went to Hawaii.

Now, the 3rd-Wayers are at the forefront pretending to be liberals and spokesmen the liberal position. It can be anticipated that the top-level Republicans will ultimately return to their origional anti-gun ownership position. Mayor Bloomberg of NY, a former Republican and now an Independent, has already done that.

It's a classic good-cop, bad-cop routine.
