Vortex In Latvian River Devours All That Enters "Whirlpool Video: Amazing

watchmynewschannel·Published on Apr 24, 2013

A monstrous whirlpool has appeared in the Baltic state of Latvia swallowing everything dragged towards it.

The bizarre phenomenon looks as if a plug has been pulled from the ground beneath as it sucks water down.

A seven-minute clip of what looks like a vortex in action was apparently captured after a river burst its banks in the south-east of the country.

There's a huge culvert under the road the filmers were standing next to. The amazing thing to me is that it's just not getting blocked by all that crud going into it.

is quick find some slightly inflatable item, duct tape my camera-phone to it (assuming I have one to throw away or can get one quickly), and look at where this thing goes. OR call an expert to investigate would probably be better.
