Amid the news cycle surrounding Benghazi, there’s been a bit of chatter about what some may call the “i-word.” Meaning: impeachment. Struck by the Republican fixation with President Obama’s potential impeachment, Rachel Maddow broached the topic on Friday, tearing into the “involuntary tic.”

That's, unfortunately, what having a Democratic president means. Endless investigations into the sex life, or now even whether he said "terrorist" when Republicans make the case that he should. This will likely blow over, people will forget about it, but then there will be some stupid-ass thing for them to "investigate" and get all worked up over.

The problem right now is that the deficit is shrinking as well as unemployment, so their usual schtik isn't working as well. Then Democrats came up with a budget that they don't want to talk about.

"But we elected Republicans because we thought they'd do a better job of running the country" - don't expect to hear that soon.
