by a line of tanks when they try to march into DC. No, I don't want the tanks to fire and I don't want any of these poor dumb bastards to get hurt. I just want them to get a little reality check about how far their home arsenal would get against a well armed government.

I once won an argument against one of these "against tyranny" hysterics many years ago by asking him why he thought all of us were going to be on the same side he was. At that point, I think he realized that his popguns weren't going to do as much for him as he thought they would.

While there are major weapons for the people to use against tyranny, direct confrontation using guns is just a way to get the gunnies killed first in any revolution.
