Many will disagree well because they look at politics as nothing more than a sporting event as long as their team wins they will gladly give up their life, freedom and liberty for a cheap win.

F-ed up times we are living in today.

Some of us knew what was going on, and notice that the radical right even back then was interrupting the calm, measured voice of reason (Zappa, in this case) with shouting and substituting their agenda for fact. All they've done since then is refine it and institutionalize it.

Frank Zappa has been an inspiration and my hero since the Oct 16, 1971 Stony Brook Mothers late show.

He would have carried on with speaking truth to power if he had lived.

extremely good Zappa interviews on youtube. I rec watching them all. There isn't a whole lot there in terms of time but Zappa confronts the big issues and there will be oodles of wisdom "Oozing around on yer living room floor". He does indeed show himself to be a true visionary and he does it with great clarity.
