Dayton Marches Against Monsanto and GMO Products

As part of a world wide organized protest against Monsanto, protestors marched through the streets of Downtown Dayton this Saturday, May 25. Protestors say that the company's collusion with government to corner agriculture markets with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), which they say are poisoning the food system, are among the many reasops that brought them to protest. Approximately 250 people attended the protest, which led marchers down Wayne Avenue to Fifth Street in the Oregon District, to Patterson, back to its beginning point at Garden Station.
