In hunting for the lyrics for this song, discovered this:

Hundreds gathered to remember Zach Sobiech, 18, at his funeral on March 23 after he passed away following a battle with osteosarcoma. Hundreds gathered to remember Zach Sobiech, 18, at his funeral on March 23 after he passed away following a battle with osteosarcoma.

Zach Sobiech's funeral was held on Thursday, May 23, and hundreds gathered to celebrate his life. After battling osteosarcoma from the age of 14, Sobiech passed away on May 20 at the age of 18. His memory, and mission to help find a cure for childhood cancer, lives on through his inspirational song, "Clouds."

According to the Minnesota newspaper Pioneer Press, 1,200 people attended Sobiech's funeral at the Church of St. Michael in Stillwater, Minn. Outside, the church was decorated with balloons that had Sobiech's "up, up, up" lyrics written on the front.

I discovered him through Upworthy just one week before he died. I'm going to see if I can put the link to his YouTube video. I suggest anyone and everyone listen to all of his songs. He has a songwriting partner who will, without a doubt, be famous in the years to come.

Zach Sobiech was an inspiration to all who knew him and to thousands of others.

He touched so many people with such a short life. He showed how to live with cancer until it's time to die with cancer. Quite the human being. As a mother, my heart breaks for his mother, his father and his siblings, not to mention his girlfriend and his fellow co-writer and singer, but especially his mother. When I see her mouthing the words to Clouds, while she tries to keep her smile, her eyes betray her. That's usually the point in the song where I start crying, seeing the fleeting look of pain in her eyes, knowing that she will carry not only the love for Zach but the pain of his passing for the rest of her life.
