How much money does it cost us every time an angry God sends us another hurricane? For we have offended him mightily by repealing DOMA and DADT.

The successor firm, Clifford Chance, still has me on the mailing list for updates on legal developments. Here's what today's email from Clifford, Chance has to say about the DOMA decision:

I'll bet a lot of Republicans in the party's pro-business wing are publicly condemning the decision, because they have to maintain good relations with the religious-nutjob wing, but are privately glad about it.
