His songs have had the power to make the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Dylan always seems to be writing about my life.

4. Me too. He's real, that's one reason.

Tracy Chapman almost paralyzes me. First time I ever heard her was very muted, over a mall p.a. system, and everything stopped for me during those minutes. Somebody said she doesn't sing, she laments. But that's fine with me. They both reach down in your deepest soul to places you might not let anyone else see.

5. Wow...this takes me back!

I have all of Bob's earliest LPs, starting with the first, and lack of a turntable prevents me from playing them endlessly as I once did. They never cease to move me and many of his songs still bring me to tears. This is one of them. Thanks for posting.
