is a weakened immune system. Some of the deaths blamed on stress may well have been caused by this type of exposure.

That so many families had to be up rooted. Still I wonder why many did not decide to move to the southern most islands in Japan. Perhaps since families have lived there for generations, it would be hard to leave the land of your ancestors.

I believe that there are many factors to why people did not leave. Some factors may include people that have to take care of the elderly, those who are ill, dealing with the loss of a loved one, ptsd, or just not having enough money. I bet some people are even held back by others who believe that things will get better much quicker than they will.. Just a thought.. Jenny C.

Nuclear power is not the safe clean creature it was presented to be.
The long range health of these people, their children, and future children has yet to be determined and you can bet they are not being told the whole truth.
God help us if this was in US. Secrecy is paramount here.

I've come to agree.

It's beguiling though. Clean, smooth hum of a nuclear power plant. Incredible what we've bent to our will to produce power. But ultimately, the byproduct is poison, and it's always just waiting to get out.
