Sometimes I wonder about the attention span of people nowdays.
Guess puters and internet has shaped us into people who scan and want quick concise info.
Complex issues are never quick and concise.

I am reading the most simplistic armchair solutions and comments here on DU....
very few seem to be getting the intermeshed web of problems in the Middle East.

When it comes down to it, religion ruins everything. My God's supposed to be better than your God.

Variations exist along religious differences with very complex patterns in history. As the last minutes of this state, the Syrian people HAVE the ability to work this out, BASED on the past.

It's pretty interesting to see how much tolerance, secularism and multiculturality are part of that country.
No place, no people to bomb. UN intervention with boots on the ground now, please. Well, in my dream world.
