(24,850 posts)7. Interesting speculation from all sides about what is up with Ted Cruz's mind.
He's a Rhodes scholar, ivy-league educated, yet he's awkward & clumsy in dealing with people. He's polarized himself within his own party for going with his own gut & making too good of an effort to out-crazy them. I suspect he thinks of himself as the smartest one among them &, dammit, he wants to be the one to excel in the crazy category.
