(18,998 posts)Why the hell can't we have leaders like him in this world, and why do we listen to the fools that preach the false message of a corrupt society...
My fear is no one will listen to him until it is too late.

(40,416 posts)He recognizes that unit #4 pool is a very bad deal and those fuel rods must be put into a safer place. Only international cooperation will best make that happen in the safest way possible.
After Fukushima, how can people defend nuclear energy? I know that I've changed my mind on it.
An extremely eloquent and well reasoned statement. I recommend that people take eight minutes to listen to this.

Nuclear power is Pandora's box.
If mankind is to survive the coming centuries, nuclear power must be forever banned.
Please, if you have any doubt, listen to this man and consider deeply what he has to say.
It may already be too late.

(27,985 posts)Smart. We need to be talking about this and making this happen. One big problem I see, is that we aren't a world civilization. Goodness knows, we should be, but that is going to be the problem. city/states and countries are too selfish.

(10,056 posts)I like that he is calling for Japan as a people to abandon nuclear power for the sake of the future.
I also completely agree with his call for a more modest lifestyle.
