(45,656 posts)a great fan of Michael Crichton books. When Jurassic Park first came out I was like, OMG!! woot! I read it in three days. I couldn't believe he came out with LOST WORLD after that..

(1,450 posts)I thought it was a very good idea to make velociraptors the most fearsome of the carnosaurs, and not the big T-rex, but I would have preferred that they use Deinonychus instead of Utah Raptors...but that's just me. Loved how they based the Sam Neil character on Jack Horner, one of my favorite paleontologists - and they even had one guy on the dig that was obviously supposed to look like Bob Bakker. Oh well, I'm rambling now. Sorry.
