Black students make up only 3.3% of the body at UCLA? I'm actually surprised it is that high. I think that percentage is higher than the school I attend. But wow...more championships than Black freshmen...that's not a good showing for a campus supposedly trying to paint itself as diverse.

I like the way they talk directly to the administration. That's it -- they've hit the nail on the head. Huge expenses on the Adminstrator perks and travel, little to no investment in access, support, financial aid for students of color. Thanks for posting.

If so, he has a powerful talent. (Two powerful talents, actually, if he is both the speaker and the writer!)

On edit: I just looked it up. Sy Stokes, the speaker, is also the writer.

Great video and well done. Loved all the facts and figures.

Am sharing on Facebook. I'm from Central CA and now live in MN. I have never been to UCLA but have been to and have friends and family in various parts of LA,, from Downey, Compton, LA, Glendale, Covina, Burbank, Hermosa. I never would have thought UCLA unbalanced. never. I have several relatives who graduated from UCLA,, an uncle who is in his 60's so he could have been at UCLA at that time, and a couple cousins who graduated in the last 5 years.

I'm glad the made this video to educate us and so we can share with others.
