The same types we have today who act like the rich boss is somehow a truly blessed and god-like figure. You should kiss the ground where they have tread and you shall be rewarded both in this life and the next.

......right up until they too are fired.

And people wonder why there are cases where former employees go on a rampage.

only define it as in July of his year. OK. It just cut off and I thought I was missing something. I like to put those kinds of historical numbers in perspective. Thanks.

Those that paid in actual cash saw that cash loop back to them in housing, clothing and food purchased at the company store. Others gave up the pretense altogether and paid in their own script that was only good at the company store so you were trapped in that life until you could no longer work and then you were cast out.

Business Unions that, in collaboration with business and the government killed off, destroyed, or subsumed the Industrial Unions and led us to where we are today.

Reading their history from about 1865 to the period you see above is damn instructive. Mother Jones, Bill Haywood, James J. Matles - will give you a bit of the education that was removed to create the propaganda most people are taught, if they are are taught much of anything about labor.
