Probably did not work well on paper and change is needed. Reid had threatened this several times guess the GOP thought they could get away with this forever.

They threatened to use this option when they were "Charles in charge" of the Senate.

I still am at a quandary of what comes first, time or of being? Guess we couldn't ask the great one, because just like everything else it would be just more hearsay even if it came from that so called great one

GOP Set to Triple Filibuster Record
How bad is GOP obstructionism in the Senate? Republican senators are on pace to more than triple the previous record for uses of a filibuster in a Congress. In 2009, there were a record 112 cloture votes (the number of cloture votes is how you measure the use of filibusters). So far in 2010, there have already been more than 40 cloture votes. The previous record was in 1995-1996, when the Republican-controlled Senate required 50 cloture votes.

If this guy is advocating for a military overthrow of this government, deport his stupid ass back to his country of origin.

of two idiots agreeing with each other. The only thing missing is both of them saying "I know, right?!" to each other for 45 minutes.

It is called the nuclear option because it is a last resort. I think President Obama was right the other day when he said one side of the the debate in this country wants to fail. Failure can take a lot of hard work sometimes. I think these guys need to do some mental yoga before trying to stretch their logic into these levels of contortion. They are going to end up with an ice cream headache of mammoth proportions.
