Soon after moving from California to Oregon, we attended a town hall he hosted in our town.
Early this year, we attended two town halls the same week: one in our town, one a couple of counties south. At the second one, we gave him a couple of small keepsakes (a hand-knit cap made of Oregon alpaca wool, and some baked goods from a business we had at the time). Despite not giving him our names and addresses at the second town hall, he had his staff research our names and address in order to send us a hand-written thank-you note.
