Anti-Semitic vandals hit Jewish deli

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – After a Jewish deli was hit three times in three weeks by anti-Semitic vandalism, people banded together Thursday to show it’s not acceptable.

“To the k**** who should die,” one message read.

“To the k**** who will die like rats,” another said.

Owner Alisa Turtletaub said it started three weeks ago.

2. Well, shit. I knew we had one struggling skinhead group here

but they haven't made the news for over a decade, not since they gay bashed a man who's not gay. Yeah, they're stupid fuckers who should be let outside only on choke chain leashes.

Most of the town is like the guy who pointed out the lowlifes just increased her business. I didn't know they'd opened and they're close to me. I'll be visiting soon.

One thing this town has desperately needed is a good deli. Dumbfuck skinheads, not so much.

3. My city.It is actually a fairly tolerant community and that is an especially hip and progressive

neighborhood.First I'd heard of this , without a TV nor hardly ever buying the local newspaper. I'm really pretty shocked at this.Not that there aren't racists everywhere, but this really does surprise me for this community. I spend time in that area on occasion and will make sure to patronize that business. Thank you for making me aware of this.

4. Man oh man, what have they got against Jewish deli? . . .

I'm not keen on some items (gefilte fish has never set well, and chopped liver -- for me -- is something to sneeze at), but who doesn't like matzoh ball soup? Some call it Jewish penicillin! And I love corned beef and pastrami, and knishes and kugels and delightful dishes I can't even pronounce -- I just point, the counter worker laughs, and in five minutes my taste buds transplant me to somewhere wonderful.

Oh, the things bigots miss out on -- they'll just never know. And their lives will be poorer for it, but they'll just never know. I just wish the target of their ire would never know the depths of such mindless hate. . .
