Echo chambers are not news sources. Reluctantly i realised that du has become an echo chamber. It's usually fun and informative, but sometimes it's not.

but the same could also be said about channels like MSNBC and even places like here on DU and CrooksandLiars. In all of those places, a good number of the viewers/regulars most likely watch and are there partly to have their beliefs confirmed. Think abut it--on here, Republicans (and people on the political Right in general) are not welcome. Same with C&L. As for MSNBC, the vast majority of its hosts are of one side of the spectrum. The difference is that between them and FOX News, MSNBC hosts don't have to resort to lying to make their points, and that channel has never pretended to be something it isn't like how FOX has with its "fair and balanced" slogan.
