3. I find this very disturbing . . .

. . . Base jumping is very dangerous, and accidents do happen. I don't much care if these guys choose to take that risk for themselves, but in a dense, urban environment like lower Manhattan, they are potentially putting people on the ground at risk for something for which they should face ZERO risk.

There was a story last week about a teen from NJ who made his way to the top of the same building in the wee hours of the morning, having been able to sneak past a sleeping security guard. Both of these events point to a serious security problem with the site.
