I have always been a fan of Elton John since I was a child in the 1970s. Somewhere, I have my Captain Fantastic LP with the inside pictures of Elton and Bernie.

Bernie Taupin is a genius.

I saw Elton, Dee and Nigel in concert in Atlanta in 1982 (I think) at the now demolished Omni.

They were freaking awesome.

Burn down the mission, indeed.
