I don't know - I feel some pity for the man - he looks like he is really down - for not being part of that revolution he was promised - even maybe getting a foot in the power structure he wanted to tear down.... Talking of being left down and out - by his own...

(169,759 posts)He's not "real". He yells "I'm a teabagger!!! I'm a teabagger forever" (the "real" members call themselves part of the "tea party"
and then at the end, he starts quoting from the book "Moby Dick" (something I doubt the crowd who showed up could do).
During the live web feed yesterday, there were some there who were really upset however.

(45,251 posts)at Foxworthy myself. As for his speech, I bet at least 50% of that accent is deliberate.
I just don't know if uber partisanship is serving us well. I mean, the people who pass laws don't think it's a great thing for them, but they sure love making sure the divisions between us get uglier and uglier.
Amazing how quickly the Republicans changed their ideas about whether celebrities had a right to free speech, though.

Of course he was doing Star Trek. I thought he might have been doing a little Blair Witch Project, but the camera wasn't jiggling.
That was cute. Let's hope that he'll be able to scrub the swastika off his forehead.

(426 posts)Khan says that in Star Trek II - quoting Moby Dick.
As for whether this is real - presumably we are supposed to believe he's drunk most of that bottle that's in his hand. Shouldn't his speech be a lot more slurred? And we didn't actually see him throw up. There's a reference to being attacked by a bunch of 'Obama kids' immediately followed by a weird reference to common core which couldn't have anything to do with his alleged attack.
This looks like a desperate attempt to generate sympathy after the revolution no one came to went up in smoke. Or rain, as the case may be.

Now that speaks volumes...!
Some of the comments are very amusing, e.g.:
So staged. So many things wrong with this. First, a real tea bagger wouldn't be drinking Jose Cuervo.

(53 posts)I think this should be viral too. This guy records himself? He posts it where ever? Tomorrow he's going to regret this and he won't be able to unpost this. I hope this gets saved and forwarded endlessly. There is nothing like a bad acting job to turn people off. Teabagger till you die?
I predict that guy will get a haircut and change his address so people won't recognize him.
We should all thank him for making that even more ridiculous than we knew it would be.
I don't know if that guy was serious or if he was doing parody.
Lastly, I wonder how many times he practiced falling over the tree.

(20,219 posts)Raging drunk. And when he'd have a rant, it was right out of the rushbag playbook. Only he also denied being republican....
Oh, he was a mess...I think wet brain was setting in.

(90,021 posts)I can't imagine anybody on OUR side would do any of those things he said were done to him, plus - would anybody on our side steal somebody's gun? We're not the heartless types, and we're not the ones who sneer at the idea of empathy, either. That's THEIR thing, from cheney on down.

(90,021 posts)Glad you're here! Pretty amazing, isn't it? Hell, I wouldn't want to issue a video of myself doing that shit! Okay, I can see the guy shooting the video to get it out of his system, but after he finished - um - would he REALLY want that all over the internet? Maybe it's a prank, maybe not, maybe he's so pickled in general that he doesn't even care anymore. I've seen the antics of quite a few of these "citizen activists" on the far wrong, and it's amazing what they're willing, and even eager, to post as far as photos and video of themselves. Certainly answers the question "have you NO shame???" with a resounding "NOPE!"

(90,021 posts)and dealt with and coped with during some ferocious winter weather, and they stayed for weeks, and were strong and resilient and inventive and committed - and these spoiled entitlement-drunken pansy-asses can't even cross a rained-out street? They're "trapped in their campgrounds and can't get out"? And if so, where's the coverage of that? I'd expect that, for all the attention this side of the so-called aisle gets from the media, there'd be reporters all over the place digging up details about where the campgrounds are, getting footage of horrible flooding and valiant fording of rained-out streets and a make-shift tent city and all that. We sure saw at least a little of that coverage for Occupy. For Pete's Sake! And, of course, that's also assuming she's even correct and/or truthful. Which is assuming a lot, I'd suspect.
