Right-wingers sure don't know much about the flag code... Just offhand, I can recall pictures of W. and McCain autographing small flags, W. stepping on a floor mat that had a flag, supporters of W. writing messages on a flag to him.

Personally, I could care less what you do with a flag that's your own property. I don't pledge allegiance to it and don't cry when someone burns it, but these guys normally do.
