This will take all of us non-elites down too, We must change how we live but the "hanging on to power" elites will die to defend their profits( they control the military and even the nukes).
It is maddening that we do not immediately hold a "constitutional convention" (for lack of a better term) and reign this in rationally and fairly for everyone. Hey.. "The sky is falling" and beside what our economy, legal system, etc. has become. We have billions of regular people who deserve to survive this political Kabuki aimed at prolonging the status quo. They do not care that we are being destroyed along with the planet.

They might as well do a BS segment on how you're going to get poisoned by water fluoridation. Oh wait! They actually did!
