And sometimes it just sounds as if the performer doesn't know how to sing it.

This was the second type.

I love covers of Beatles' songs. It is a testament to their songwriting genius.

He's so authentic. You just feel it whenever you hear him. He's the real deal. Beautiful rendition.

The guitar was OK, but Jack White's vocals left a lot to be desired. You may think that he has a very unique voice, and yes that's one way to look at it, but his basic vocal technique was shoddy and inconsistent. I think I'll watch Paul McCartney's original on YouTube, and I think that doing so would only strengthen my verdict.
