The news, and that includes TV as well, has brought it onto themselves, they have become voices for political parties, fail to tell the truth and to have unbiased opinions regarding real issues.

I feel that the discontent for paper and TV news started during the pre-war efforts to the Iraq invasion when many newspapers and TV "news" catered to the Bush administration to promote war, so...when they start reporting real news I will renew my subscription, and yes I feel bad for the writers and journalists who will be loosing their jobs, but some of them have brought it on to themselves for not staying truthful to their principles.

although some of them do have an agenda, their reporting is usually supported by videos that confirm what they write about. When I read their opinions then I do my best to filter through it, it is hard even harder when their opinion matches mine, but I do my best to filter.

I also read foreign press on the Internet, British press is very good, I also read from Spain and other Latin American countries, some of the Italian as well.

It is not easy, because the World of journalism, newspapers, etc. are interested in their economic survival so they try to provide sensationalism and forget to provide truth, just so that they can sell, also they understand that they will not be in favor with politicians unless they write/report on things that politicians want them to report on, so in order to stay in the circle they have to compromise their principles. What they don't seem to understand is that if they tell the truth and become unbiased we, the people, will buy their goods, why they don't understand that I really don't know.

Anyway, I hope I have answered your question.
