To see a wolf is awesome, I know what you are saying that they destroy so many other animals. Don't believe it for a minute, yes they do kill, but only to survive unlike man who kills just to kill and to hear the howl of a wolf is amazing.

Nor those who talk about "culling" species like wolves or cougars. You can't "cull' an apex predator - they don't overpopulate. They can't overpopulate. If you ever find a place that has "too many wolves," come back the next year, there will be far fewer of them without a single human finger being lifted. Even in the best conditions, apex predators walk the razor edge of starvation.

Thanks for posting. You rarely see information that connects the dots on why we need to preserve individual species as relates to the entire ecosystem...

.... grew back and this helped the native trout population which in turn helped to feed the
bears and you had less bear vs people problems.
