Ring of Fire: Arizona GOPer Says Poor Women Should Be Sterilized

Ring of Fire's Sam Seder and author Cliff Schecter discuss former Arizona state Senator Russell Pearce's comments regarding women on Medicaid, in which he insisted that they should be sterilized.

Pearce stated:

“You put me in charge of Medicaid, the first thing I’d do is get Norplant, birth-control implants, or tubal ligations," Pearce said on his talk radio show. "Then we’ll test recipients for drugs and alcohol, and if you want to [reproduce] or use drugs or alcohol, then get a job.”

a deputy with the Maricopa county sheriffs office. He used to hassle us teens when we were doing nothing wrong. He was a giant dick with ears back then, and I see nothing has changed!

Obviously, they are of limited intelligence, and in the interest of
progress, should not be allowed to pass on their 'stupid' genes.
And of course, that applies equally to men as well as women.

What a jerk.

Apparently he's also OK with eugenics, in as much as he want to be able to put conditions who can reproduce.
