Come Sunday morning, the streets of Manhattan will be flooded with tens of thousands of people making their voices heard during the People’s Climate March. The event, expected to draw more than 100,000 protesters demanding bold, direct action on climate change could be the biggest demonstration of its kind. With different groups scheduled to host mini-rallies all up and down the route, the goal is to make a joyful noise about climate change two days before President Obama and other world leaders gather at the UN for a summit on the climate crisis.
