"I’m not running for Congress to represent any political party, but I am running to make a difference,” said Ashford. “For sixteen years, I have worked with members of both parties in the Unicameral to balance the budget and create jobs, and I’ll do the same thing in Washington by working to create a coalition of 25 members who are looking to reduce partisanship and deliver solutions for everyone.”
