For Those Upset With the Derek Jeter Farewell Tour

I have not had a problem with the Derek Jeter farewell tour, but I know some at DU and, I guess, some others across the country cannot wait for the thing to end. Keith Olbermann bring up some interesting facts about Derek Jeter in the video.

He also compared him to sluggers positions. this is a much better comparison. He has the 3rd highest batting average for a Shortstop.

who do you want on your team in the World series when it counts.name all the great series he had in the playoffs. i think it was one total.
Also Did anyone ever come to Arod's defense or said they love playing with him. He is a dick all the way around.

4. Finally!!

Thought I was all alone waiting for the bullshit to end. Never have been able to see what makes Derek "the greatest...". Like Olbermann says, there is less there than meets the eye.

Why can't athletes retire quietly in the off-season? You'll never see a football player do a retirement tour--Why? Because they would no doubt be 'flattened' at every opportunity.
