Great-Grandmother Beaten by CHP Officer Gets Justice -- Great News! Yay!

Marlene Pinnock spoke out Thursday about the settlement in her case against the CHP. Not only was the officer forced to resign, and never work as a CHP officer again, she received money for a managed trust, and the officer will likely face charges going forward.

I am shocked -- in a good way -- that justice appears in this case to have come to this lovely woman.

so, the next time you want to cheer on or make excuses for OUTRAGEOUS police abuse, remember YOU have to foot the bill when the victims' sue and win.

this Great-Grandmother should not be compensated for the pain that she suffered
at the hands of our police officers.

If you don't want the taxpayers to pay this bill, then you should fight to get better
police officers so that this doesn't happen.

Firing him is a good first step.

That is precisely what the poster you were replying to was saying.

This settlement should support her and she well deserves it.
