and the poor guy he opened fire on is doing well with a hip wound.

He's off the force and sitting in jail unless his family has raised $75,000 cash.

When you say "at least the cop didn't kill this one," you know it's really bad out there.

This is the second video I've watched this morning after logging on. The first was the Crawford case where a black man was executed for carrying a BB gun in a Walmart.

Question: Has anyone seen any recent data on the number of visitors coming to the U.S.? That is, a year-to-year chart of the number of Europeans, Australians, New Zealanders, Japanese, etc. who are choosing to visit the United States? I have got to think the numbers have plummeted like a rock.

What sane person would choose to visit the United States where innocent civilians--particularly those with darker skin tones--are being shot down for little or no reason whatsoever? On a daily basis? A country spiraling toware fascism with a paramilitary police terrorizing the citizens?

I'll look for the data later today if no one else can find it.

HOLY HELL. What in God's name has happened to my country?

Was he asked to get out of the car? If he just got out of the car for no reason, I can see the cop being on edge, cause you're not supposed to do that!

he had his hands up and in plain sight......oh what the hell....blaming the victim, especially if he's black, is an art form with some who peruse this forum. This pig was a goddamn coward.....afraid of the 'black male threat'. But you think the cop was justified in shooting this individual...that's all that matters...to you....

I'm just asking a question for context and trying to understand a situation that we only joined in the middle of the action. I never at any point said he was justified in shooting. You don't have to freak out and vomit on me. Get a damn grip.

That way the policeman knows I can not reach for a gun and I do not have anything in my hands. Funny thing is I have never gotten a ticket, just a warning. I guess the officer is more comfortable seeing that I don't have anything to harm them. When they ask for my DL & registration, I pull out my wallet and given them my DL and then start walking around to the passenger side (they usually follow me) and get it out of the glove box. They go back to their can and I follow them so I am out in the open the whole time. I it is raining they usually offer to let me sit in their car while they check the records.

Getting out of the car will completely freak out a cop. Provided of course that you were pulled over by that cop. Actually it's pretty weird that he would harass someone who has parked in the first place!

a distance rather than walk up to the car not knowing if the person in the car had a gun pointed at them through the door.

They do not like the person stepping out in to the traffic and endangering everyone though. Put taking the time to pull over into a parking area or where there is plenty on room and no one is in danger of getting hit by traffic it is a different matter.

You know, getting gas?

Not sure this video shows the context, but he did not get "pulled over" until he was already in the gas station - the "cop" happened to be there and allegedly turned on his lights because he saw the black man was not wearing a seatbelt.

But go ahead and take the side of the sociopath posing as a peace officer.
