(20,166 posts)I believe I coined the word "bushevik" in a series of satirical columns I wrote for Buzzflash.com. If it was used by others before me, I was not aware of it, anyway. My thinking behind creating the term was 1) the Bush crowd seized power undemocratically like the Bolsheviks did in Russia and 2) I thought it would be a funny dig at these right wingers to point out to them how much they were like their nemesis in the USSR's early days.
Anyway, in one of my columns I wrote about how the Busheviks had renamed DC "Reagangrad", referring to the Soviets renaming cities after Lenin and Stalin.
This was, in my mind, me pushing the Bush crowd's ideological zealousness to an absurd level. Never in a million years did I anticipate that these loony tunes would actually want to do something like seceding and renaming their country "Reagan," but it just goes to show that reality is far stranger than fiction.

Their leaders have plenty of money, can buy a place. They need to leave, take their followers with them, thereby allowing a more cohesive USA that can begin building a strong future.
