Even if it's just them "Defending their Position" why shouldn't their Views get a Full Airing?

Would you trash Russia if Their Media posted one of our Own USA President's Speeches to the World?

No.....you would trash Media Sites that Refused to Show an American President's Speech calling them FASCISTS.

Hey...Putin Gave a Speech and he is one of the World Global Leaders.

Why Shouldn't we Listen (if we have time or interest) just as Russian Citizens would want to listen to President Barack Obama's Speeches and if they didn't we would accuse them of Limiting or Repressing Free Speech.]

And, if you have a problem with the speech after listening then do a "Point by Point" Critique of what he said that was so OTT and LIES that you can point them out "one by one."

Glad to see this video posted because we are a Global World for Business and Trade and Every Leader should Need To be Heard by an informed citizenry and business community.. Dontcha' Think?

a Two Term President...an Heir of His Father's Legacy from Nixon Onward. And the Family way back to Nazi Germany.

So now THEY GO HEAD TO HEAD...with Former KBG OP.

But, in this particular Speech.....the Father and the Son could barely spit out a literate Sentence to Compete with the "Former KBG OP" for LITERACY.

How do you deal with that? If you listened to the WHOLE SPEECH...????

When Putin sounds like a Progressive Democrat....and Jeb Bush is thinking of Running.

All is FUN AND GAMES on the International Scene..... So...who has the better message these days to appeal to an International/Business/Global Audience.

Putin seems Fresh compared to the Bush Rhetoric from the Past.

Hey....whatever Putin is....The Guy can give a Great Speech to a World Audience in Turmoil.

Clever Fellow. That KGB OP.... Just as our CIA has promoted and gotten Clever Fellows Elected to the Presidency.

I don't have to argue on behalf your target of rude behavior here, but considering how you answered... and the fact that no one has alerted your comment as a result. I have to imagine that this thread is one to examined and considered, including linked material.

I've listened to Putin's comment, and the additional Ray McG's interview in Germany. I come away less ignorant each time we review history regarding world dominance, what the neocon's have been pining for and how fascist driven media pine to continue a goal of pulling the wool over our collective heads.

I applaud those who want to comment further about Putin and Obama, especially at this juncture in the delicate balance of this world for our future generations. This is where cooperative action should finally take itself up once again.

Now, who really wants to prove themselves an ignoramus here?

Follow the link provided--"Koko" has admitted to knowing (or claims to know) nothing about Putin's actions increasing the totalitarianism in Russia, yet Koko finds all the links to pro-Putin fake news site very "informative." That's the definition of boastful ignorance. Sorry if that's "rude" to you, it's not to me--it's calling it like it is.

Explain calling that one anything but your own boastful ignorance…

Fact is, you don't know any more than the next person, but you THINK you need to correct others who hold a more open opinion about these things. Perhaps it's to continue to give stability to your opinion. You have no room for further considerations.

Who's boastfully ignorant here?

As I already said, I followed the link provided by KoKo.

There can be no reasonable discussion, here on DU, of Mr. Putin, or of the events in Ukraine. What you read in the Western media and what you hear from the US State Dept. is 180 degrees from the reality of events on the ground.

Here's a link to a short interview 18 minutes) with Ray McGovern, at a gathering in Germany. I think he sums it up exceedingly well.

Ukraine Conflict: "It Began with the Coup d'Etat in Kiev"

But what Ray McGovern and a multitude of Russia experts have to say doesn't matter, don't you see. It's all about hurling epithets and engaging in ad hominem attacks. It's all so regrettable.

They demonize Putin as they have Assad, and will likewise smear any foreign leader who doesn't bow down and accept a subservient role to "US interests" (in reality global Bankster mafia interests which actually run directly counter to the real and legitimate interests of the US).

Thanks for posting the McGovern video.
