Seeing McConnel sent packing, following in the footsteps of Eric Cantor will be a wonderful consolation prize.

I didn't read the Daily Herald's but could probably write it for them pretty accurately. I'd just need a concussion and a 2nd grader with a blue Crayola to edit it for their target audience.

Because the short-attention-span crowd and the low-information crowd, too, is always looking for simplification. A quick hit. A quick fix. Don't wanna waste time having to think about it or look into it to any depth or spend any time researching it. That's what you get with a dumbed-down society. So if all they see is this headline, that's good enough. We have to think and become fluent in short-hand. That's why bumpersticker politics is so important. It's rather frustrating and in some ways outright shameful. But that's the currency of the day, so we're forced to use it. Recognize the parameters of the playing field and adapt accordingly. We really don't have another choice.

Based on her campaign so far, against him.

She is another 'conservative Democrat' like Ben Chandler was.
But still vastly better than Mr. Turtle.
She has my vote next week.

Whether the thugs are in control or not, this COUNTRY deserves better than someone who's PRIMARY and PLEDGED goal is to throw a stick in the spokes of whatever this president tries to do. Such a treasonous strategy serves NO ONE but the folks Mitch works for - the monied special interests.

Send the Turtle back to ol' Kentuck and let it spend it's final years contentedly munching on chunks of coal.

In this right wing hypocrites world he said this, "bringing jobs to Kentucky was not his job"----really.
What then did Touché Turtle (Cartoon) do for his job and why is he still there taking bribes from his corporate buddies, you really have to question his sincerity to this country and state, lets find out shall we:
1. Collecting $193,000.00 dollars and year, and not one jobs bill
2. Has blocked/ filibustered votes in the Senate around 400 times, and not one jobs bill
3. Voted against the Affordable Health Care Act, and still did not introduce one jobs bill
4. likes to go to the micro-phone and say nothing and do nothing right along with his right wing leadership, and still no jobs bill
5. Unemployment rate in Kentucky 6.7%, and still no jobs bill from Touché Turtle

If anyone can and wants to add anything else to this hypocrites resume please do, shall we, just to remind Kentuckians about this right wing hypocrite and his hypocrisy

Glad you're here! No, he's just into SORE LOSERMAN stuff. MAN, I wish there were more activists hanging that around his neck. Revenge and poor sportsmanship - that's our yertle's great quest. How's that worked out for you, Kentucky? Where ARE the jobs, anyway? And since you like your healthcare under Kynect, I'll bet you'll be mighty glad to have that taken away from you, correct? Which is what you'll get if you vote republi-CON.

That's a meme we should be spreading. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU VOTE REPUBLI-CON. They'll con you into thinking if you just keep voting their way, you'll all be rich someday! Yeah, that and a dime will get you a few minutes in a parking meter. If you even have an extra dime to your name by the time they get through with you, that is. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU VOTE REPUBLI-CON.

THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU VOTE REPUBLI-CON.

THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU VOTE REPUBLI-CON.

THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU VOTE REPUBLI-CON.
